Disability

The ETUC promotes equal rights and social integration in an ordinary work environment – and across society in general – for all people with disabilities, and aims to raise awareness and mobilise trade unionists to this end. It has set three priorities for successful integration:

  the right to employment
  the right to education and training
  the right to dignity

The ETUC works together with organisations representing disabled people, through the European Disability Forum, to combat discrimination and achieve equal rights.
